BunnyQuery is now in public BETA!

BunnyQuery has been stabilizing fast, and after many late nights spent squashing bugs, we're confident enough to make it official: version 1.0.5 is now our public BETA. That means we're leaving the experimental ALPHA phase behind and stepping into something far more solid.

It's still FREE

Unless we announce otherwise, we'll keep serving your projects on a free tier with a few limits:

  • 1 GB of database storage for your indexed data
  • 500 MB for your file data
  • Up to 3 collaborators per project

And any project you create during this window stays free, forever. We may revisit these policies down the road, but the projects you spin up now are locked in.

What we've rolled out so far

BunnyQuery started as a simple MCP server for Skapi services. But it quickly grew into something bigger: a chatbot you can securely feed your own context to, then turn your AI agent loose on your data, safely.

It now reads a ton of file types

Documents & office: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .pptx, .hwp, .hwpx, .ods, .odt, .odp, .epub

Markup: .html, .htm, .xml

Text & data: .csv, .tsv, .tab, .txt, .text, .log, .md, .markdown, .rst, .json, .ndjson, .jsonl, .geojson, .yaml, .yml, .toml, .ini, .conf, .cfg, .properties, .env, .rtf, .srt, .vtt, .tex

Source code: .js, .mjs, .cjs, .ts, .tsx, .jsx, .py, .rb, .go, .rs, .java, .kt, .c, .h, .cpp, .cc, .hpp, .cs, .php, .swift, .sh, .bash, .zsh, .sql, .css, .scss, .less, .vue, .svelte

And of course, depending on which AI agent you use, it can run OCR image recognition too.

For now, your Bunny can't watch video or listen to audio just yet, but that's on the way.

There's an embeddable widget

Want to drop your Bunny straight into your website? You can now embed it with our BunnyQuery IIFE Widget. Copy, paste into your HTML, and you're live.

PSST...

Here's a little secret: every BunnyQuery project is actually a full Skapi service. You'll find it sitting right there in your Skapi service list, because BunnyQuery is really just Skapi wearing a lighter UI shell. Log into Skapi with your BunnyQuery account, or the other way around. It's all the same account.

So creating a project in BunnyQuery is really a shortcut to spinning up a Skapi service for free. You get the same battle-tested serverless database, client-side security, and backend infrastructure built for scalability, flexibility, and security.

More news coming up!

We'll keep posting technical write-ups and product news here. Subscribe to the newsletter from your account profile page so you don't miss anything, and you can browse past articles anytime at bunnyquery.com/articles.

That's it for today. I Hope you enjoy working with your Bunny!
