Every Skapi plan now runs with unlimited bandwidth, for a limited time. Standard picked up extra database room on the way.

Welcome back! This is a short and happy post about numbers going up.
Standard gets more room
Standard moves from 8 GB to 10 GB of database storage. Same $19 a month, same everything else, two extra gigabytes waiting for you the next time you write a record.
Bandwidth is unlimited on every plan
Here is the fun part.
Skapi has never charged for bandwidth, and now it measures it properly: CDN and storage access logs are aggregated per project, per month, so every plan has a real bandwidth line on its spec sheet. There is a rate written next to it in our pricing table, $0.085 per GB, the way any hosting company has one.
We built the meter, and then decided not to switch on the bill.
Every plan's bandwidth ceiling reads unlimited. Nothing is billed against it. No request is ever refused for going over. The counter keeps running purely so that we know what real projects look like, and so that if this ever changes, we can tell you exactly what your own traffic costs instead of leaving you to guess.
So go on. Serve the video. Ship the big downloads. Put your static site on Skapi hosting and stop rationing it.
This is a limited time offer. We are not putting a date on it, and just like last time, we will say so here well before anything changes. But the point of a window is that it closes, so if you have been holding a bandwidth heavy idea back, this is your moment.
Where the plans stand
| Standard $19/mo | Premium $89/mo | |
|---|---|---|
| User accounts | 50,000 | 100,000 |
| Database storage | 10 GB | 50 GB |
| File storage | 100 GB | 500 GB |
| Email storage | 1 GB | 5 GB |
| Monthly email sends | 5,000 | 50,000 |
| Monthly bandwidth | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Past the ceiling | Hard stop | Pay as you go |
File storage is now one pooled figure covering three things that used to be counted apart: your web hosting, your record file attachments and your BunnyQuery index. One number is easier to live with than three, and it means a project that leans heavily on hosting and lightly on attachments gets to use all of that room instead of watching it sit unused in another bucket.
The perpetual licences pick this up too. Standard Perpetual carries the Standard numbers and Premium Perpetual carries the Premium numbers, so both get the upgrade with nothing to renew.
Premium bills instead of stopping
Standard hard stops at the ceiling. Past the line the write is refused and nothing is charged, which is exactly what you want on a plan that might be carrying a side project, where a surprise invoice is worse than a surprise error.
Premium is built for the other situation. It has no hard stop at all. Go past an included limit and Skapi meters the excess and adds it to your next invoice, so the launch that goes better than you expected does not take your app down at three in the morning. Your app keeps serving, and you settle up later.
| Metric | Rate past the included limit |
|---|---|
| File storage | $0.023 per GB-month |
| Database storage | $0.10 per GB-month |
| Email storage | $0.10 per GB-month |
| Email sends | $1.00 per 1,000 |
| Monthly active users | Free |
| Bandwidth | Not charged today |
Storage overage is time weighted rather than a high water mark, so if you sit 20 GB over for two days and then tidy up, you pay for two days and not for the month. And a project arriving on Premium already holding more than the included allotment is never charged for the days before it got there.
Free projects start on BunnyQuery
Skapi's free tier lives at www.bunnyquery.com. Create a project there and it starts on the Free plan with no card, no trial clock and nothing to cancel.
It is the same Skapi backend underneath, the same project ID and the same SDK, so you can build against it exactly as you would any other project and move it onto a paid plan later without recreating a thing.
In short
- Standard's database storage goes from 8 GB to 10 GB, at the same price.
- Bandwidth is unlimited on every plan, for a limited time.
- File storage is one pooled ceiling across hosting, record files and BunnyQuery.
- Premium meters overage instead of hard stopping, so your app never falls over at the line.
- Free projects are created at www.bunnyquery.com, on the same backend.
Not one of these asks anything of you. No setting to flip, no version to install, no downtime. The next time your app makes a request, it will simply have more room than it did before.
Go use the bandwidth while it is free.
